Chemistry (Y12)

Subject Description

Teacher in Charge: Michael Bangma.

Students will explore the particle nature of matter using practical observations, modeling, and symbolic interpretations of the chemical world.  Students will learn a variety of analytical skills and will learn how to make sense of their observations.

Students will sit both internals and externals to learn about a range of areas of chemistry such as organic, inorganic, quantitative, redox chemistry.

This course will help students learn about the material world, and the nature of matter that makes up our universe, and prepare them to go on to level 3 Chemistry.
