Subject Description
Teacher in Charge: Kathy Roy, Justin Pearce.
Students will gain substantial performance, composition and research skills through a range of creative opportunities. Students will have the opportunity to choose from a range of standards to play to their strengths and also to what interests them. This course will lead into Level 3 Music.
Recommended Prior Learning
Recommended to have an instrument before coming into this class, vocals and taonga pūoro or other traditional cultural instruments do count.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Laptops and any instruments they need. Though we do have many instruments in the music department for students to use.
