Chemistry (Y13)
Subject Description
Teacher in Charge: Lily Jessep.
Students will explore the particle nature of matter using practical observations, modeling, and symbolic interpretations of the chemical world.
Students will learn a variety of analytical skills, practical skills, and how to make Inferences from their observations and presented data. Students will do internal and external standards covering a range of areas of chemistry such as organic, inorganic, redox, analytical.
This course will build on level 2 chemistry, and prepare students to take tertiary-level chemistry.
