Subject Description

Teacher in Charge: Ben Rogers.

This is a course for students who love social, outdoors based physical activity and health. This course combines PE, Outdoor Education and Health into a fun and exciting experience. Students choose physical activities and consider how these impact on out wellbeing. In 2024 the class chose disc golf, where we did a road trip around Wellington visiting different courses. Students will also go on a 2 day tramp. Health topics are also covered, including alcohol and drugs, safe sex practice and mental wellbeing. Lessons are both practical and classroom based. 

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

Contribution is for entry into sports facilities, Aquathon transport and training costs, in-house fitness instructor.
