Subject Description
Teacher in Charge: Rowan Donaldson, Mitch Neilson.
Students can select from a range of environmental science and social action achievement standards with a focus on sustainability and whanaungatanga (contributing to the community). Students can take control of their learning by creating their own projects that align with the achievement standards offered and/or build their confidence and skills through a framework such as the Duke of Edinburgh Hillary Award. . Students will have significant opportunities to work outside the classroom on a range of community and school projects such as growing vegetables, planting native species, predator control etc.
